Metadata Score
The Metadata Score evaluates the completeness and quality of a podcast’s metadata. This includes the title, description, category assignments, cover image quality, and much more.
Good metadata is crucial for discoverability on platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify. A higher score indicates that the podcast is better optimized for search engines and platform algorithms.
Some of the factors influencing the Metadata Score:
Length of podcast description, titles, episode titles and episode descriptions
Proper genre and sub-genre tagging
Resolution of cover artwork
Consistency and structure of episode titles
Cross-platform metadata consistency

The rating score shows you if a podcast has received many positive reviews, both consistently over time and recently. If a show has received many positive reviews recently, it's rating score will improve.
