What are Podcast Channels?
Get to know podcast channels and how they compare to planning with individual podcasts
Podcast Channels allow you to buy reach across a group of shows in one single package. They offer a streamlined way to scale your campaign and are often more cost-effective than selecting individual podcasts — especially when working with larger audiences or broader targeting strategies.

What Are Podcast Channels?
A channel combines multiple podcasts into one media product. When you book impressions on a channel:
Your ad will be distributed across any of the included podcasts
However, your ad won’t necessarily run in every single show
You do not have control over which specific podcasts your ad is placed in
Channels are curated and offered by sales houses and often come at a lower CPM compared to booking shows individually. You can add any channel to your campaign and include it in your planning.
Please note: Not all podcasts included in a channel may be listed on PODIUS. Some channels represent entire portfolios or large selections that change over time. In these cases, we only show the most relevant or representative shows. For full and up-to-date channel details, always consult the sales house directly and request a briefing.
Creating Custom Channels
If a channel you need is missing — or if you’ve negotiated a special bundle with a Vermarkter — you can create a custom channel.
There are two ways to get started:
Start from scratch
Duplicate an existing channel as a starting point
For custom channels, you have a bunch of customization options:
Set a custom title and description
Define the minimum booking amount
Enter the total number of available impressions
Add CPMs for each ad slot and ad type. You can copy values across ad types to save time.
Once your custom channel is set up, you can assign specific podcasts to it: These will appear in the campaign planning interface. Planners can preview which shows are part of the channel.
